Sehai woke from her late Summer nights slumber. Feeling the intense warm rays of the double sun on her back, she stretched her delicate feathery wings, feeling their every muscle flex and stretch; a slight breeze was kicked up by the feathers. As she folded her wings back against her sides and tucked them close to her body, she shook her head to clear her still sleepy mind. She knew she should get up, but the bed of leaves was too comfortable to just abandon.
Hearing a familiar bird cry above her, Sehai looked skyward and saw a phoenix as it flew past her vision. It was then that she noticed that one of Erassa's dual suns had begun to ch
